#20 DANCE!
When was the last time you thought about your life as one big dance?
Dance, that feeling of elation, where you get swept up and away in the joy of movement and your body constellating in space. Dance, the moving of emotion through limbs and with song and rhythm, opening you to parts and places you barely knew were there.
In the choice to carve out space and listen to our bodies, we can become more resourced for life. Dance can open stuck spaces, pull us into new territory that our hearts long for. It is not only for weekends, and merry making - though that in itself is medicine.
After years of conscious movement, I will be offering what has been hugely opening for me: a 2 hour guided dance space in the style of Open Floor/5 Rhythms.
Date: Wednesday 21st August, 6:30-8:30pm
Where: Peoples Roastery Cafe, 275 Mansfield St, Newtown, Wellington
What: Wear soft, comfortable clothes, a yoga mat or blanket to lie on. Water bottle. If this sounds terrifying, AND exiting, then come. Your body will do the rest!
