#14 Forty-Five

Today I turned 45.

At each of these post 40 year junctures, I notice an increasing urgency to both ‘be about my life’s work’ and the pause to ask: what is life asking of me now?

The poet Mary Oliver asks: “What is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” What indeed?

Even if it is not your mid life birthday, finding a reason to let yourself be stopped, or slowed enough to ask what is really important to you might be a worthy and even illuminating cause to take up.

Today’s episode is a heart meander through the use of astrology as therapy, the beauty of birds, and the pondering of what gifts the ageing process gives us.

May you live long and prosper!
